Mixtape: MMXVI – II

II (Two)

MMXVI
Fig. II.

The term “shaking what your mother gave you” was originally used to describe toddlers with “rattles.” A hand held baby toy toy that uses physical agitation to produce sound. The sound in turn entertains the toddler and provides the parent/guardian with sufficient satisfaction in knowing their child is in fact entertained.

Today, these children are now of the age of consent and continue to seek out ways to apply the sentiment “shake what your mother gave you.” Many have found acceptable and even addictive use of that around the act of moving ones “booty” synchronously with some sweet, sweet jams.

This mix tape is for those petulant children.
